My friend Renee Pearson is a Photoshop guru and for years now she's been bringing her expertise to the world of digital scrapbooking and crafting. She's written some of the most popular books on the subject and traveled extensively teaching workshops in Photoshop and PS Elements. In the video above Renee is at the CHA 2010 show demonstrating a project using istockphoto images and the Wacom tablet. Renee is an inspiration; she's an engaging teacher, a talented artist and always on the cutting edge where art and technology meet.
Renee and I have been talking for awhile about having me teach a class in my favorite software, Adobe Illustrator. Now that Renee has an online school for digital training, it's about to happen! You can visit her school at ReneePearson.com.
I am excited to be working on my beginning Illustrator class, it's called "Step by Step Design With Illustrator." I've worked in this program for years (since version 5!) and I'm having a great time designing and organizing a method for teaching the software that will appeal to digital crafters and give everybody some techniques to get them up and running and feeling inspired to bring their own creations to life.
